The Salusbury, Queen’s Park: A Classic Reimagined
The reopening of The Salusbury last autumn wasn’t just a refresh, it was a complete rethink. Under new ownership from Gareth Cooper and Alex Payne, this much-loved high street pub has been transformed into a destination. One that blends proper food, considered design and a space that genuinely evolves throughout the day.

And it’s already getting noticed. The Salusbury was recently featured in the Financial Times as one of London’s standout venues, which is a clear sign that this isn’t just a local upgrade, but something much bigger.
It’s the kind of place that feels effortless. But behind that? A lot of thought.
That’s where Intecho came in…
Working closely with the team, we delivered a KNX lighting control system designed to support how the space actually operates. Not just lighting for lighting’s sake, but lighting that adapts.
From relaxed brunches through to late evening dining, carefully programmed pre-set scenes shift the atmosphere throughout the day. It’s subtle, but it changes everything. The mood, the feel and the way people experience the space.

Control is simple too. Intuitive, app-based adjustments mean staff can respond in real time without overthinking it. No complexity, just control where it matters.
Alongside this, we installed a high-definition CCTV system across the venue, ensuring the space feels as safe as it does welcoming, for both guests and the team behind the scenes.
The result is a venue that works. For the people running it, and for the people enjoying it. And that’s always the goal!
We’re proud to have played a part in bringing The Salusbury to life… It’s a space that proves great hospitality isn’t just about what you see, but how it feels.

Are you building a space where experience, efficiency and control all matter? Let’s talk…
