Intecho Goes Global
There’s a moment at every airport… The hum of departures, the quiet buzz of anticipation, when it sinks in that Intecho has become something bigger than a UK smart-tech specialist. Our engineers stand in line with their passports, coffee in hand, ready to take their expertise to places they’d never imagined, when they first joined us!
Miami. Dublin. Paris.
What started as a commitment to best-in-class smart building control, has evolved into something more meaningful! We’re a company that opens doors, not just for our clients, but for the people who make Intecho what it is!
Over the last 12 months, our teams have travelled further, collaborated deeper, and stepped into some of the most iconic global environments in hospitality and retail – each project leaving its own mark, not just on our portfolio, but on our people…
From Mayfair to Miami
Sexy Fish Mayfair was more than a project, it was a showcase of how technology, artistry and culture collide. It set the stage for what came next: Sexy Fish Manchester, closely followed by the announcement of Sexy Fish Miami.
A world away from home, Miami gave our engineers something no office ever could, the chance to immerse themselves in a different continent, a different climate, and a completely different way of working.
Days on-site turned into evenings exploring new streets, new food and new friendships. That’s the part most people don’t see. The late-night problem-solving over tacos. The sunrise cab rides to the site. The sense of “we did this” when the doors finally opened.

The Ivy – Where the Craic Meets Craft
Then came Dublin… The Ivy Asia, a brand synonymous with detail, atmosphere, and experience, trusted Intecho once again. For the engineers who’d worked on earlier Ivy sites, stepping into Dublin felt familiar yet fresh; the same standard of excellence, the same attention to ambience, but in a city full of warmth, music, and a pace that quickly sweeps you up.
It’s not just installing systems. It’s absorbing a city’s character while helping shape one of its most exciting hospitality spaces.

Paris at Christmas – A Project Wrapped in Magic
And then there was Paris. Sephora’s Christmas installation wasn’t just another technical challenge; it was a moment. The Sephora team requested a bespoke Christmas-themed animation, complete with specific colours and features, and we were determined to deliver something worthy of their vision.
It was a chance for our team to bring flagship retail theatre to life in one of the most visually celebrated cities in the world.
Paris in December has a particular kind of glow – lights on every corner, window displays that feel like stories, and a creative energy that rubs off on anyone working within it. Our engineers felt that. They lived that. And they brought that inspiration home.

But being global isn’t about geography, it’s about growth…
When we say Intecho goes global, we don’t just mean our portfolio is expanding, though it is. We mean our people are growing with it!
- Every flight booked is an opportunity…
- Every city is a classroom…
- Every project shapes not only the buildings we work in, but the engineers we bring with us…
We value that. We invest in that. And we believe that giving our teams the chance to see the world, to gain experience beyond the day-to-day, to collaborate with international designers and contractors, isn’t just good for business – it’s transformative.
These global projects are a reminder that Intecho isn’t defined solely by the systems we engineer, but by the people behind them. The ones wiring controls beneath the Miami sunshine. The ones fine-tuning lighting scenes in the heart of Dublin. The ones making magic happen under the Paris Christmas lights.
This is Intecho’s global chapter – written not by buildings, but by the engineers who bring them to life!
