Meadowhall Sheffield

Meadowhall is an example of Intecho’s adaptability. We inherited a system installed by others and were commissioned to provide our lighting control capabilities as well as our Intecho Total Cover service and maintenance offering on an ongoing basis. We manage over 15,000 energy efficient 10%% LED light fittings, with an advanced energy metering and lighting management system to ensure continual improvements in efficiency and cost reduction.

Our expertise in DALI and WAGO technology is crucial in the ongoing management of this building, the system provides fully automated emergency testing, DALI dimming throughout and numerous automated, scheduled and manually activatable lighting scenes to aid operational requirements, late shopping events and energy-saving.

Meadowhall was the first UK shopping centre to be rated BREEAM excellent and the total cost of the refurbishment project was £55 million.
